Reasons you shouldn't be kidnapped and delete your Facebook.

What would you do if you were talking to a guy you didn't know on the internet, and he kidnaps you than he lures your friend in and kidnaps her?

That's basically what this movie is with SPOILERS.

Before you jump to conclussions thinking that I'm some creeper who spends my free time watching movies about kidnapped people and all of that, let me explain.

It all started one night when I was bored and was searching through Netflix for something new and scary to watch, (I shouldn't watch scary movies because I think they won't bother me when in reality, I'm scared and never want to go outside for a few days or even sleep with the lights off.) so I saw 'Megan is Missing' as one of the titles about a 14 year old who talks to a guy online and how it esclades from there. After watching this movie all I can say is

OH MY GOD.

It starts out about Megan who is 14 and really popular in school and has a horrible home life, with her mom saying that she never wanted her, blah blah and she has a best friend named Amy who is 14 also but is more shy and has a great home life. Megan is talking to one of her friends on Skype and her friend said that she should add this guy named Josh because he's really hot and everything, but he can't Skype because his dog chewed the camera. So Megan decides to start talking to Josh and when she asks about being able to Skype, he says that his brother broke it. SKETCHY, YOU SHOULD HAVE STOPPED TALKING TO HIM MEGAN. BUT YOUR 14 AND THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING RIGHT?
But so she decides that it's not a big deal. So they keep talking every day and he invites her to this party he's going to where she lives, so her and Amy go to this party where you have to pay $10 to get in. IF IT'S YOUR FRIEND'S PARTY YOU SHOULDN'T PAY TO GET IN. I WOULDN'T PAY OR LET ALONE GO TO A 14 YEAR OLDS PARTY IN A EMPTY HOUSE.
So while everyone is drinking or doing illegal drugs, poor Megan waited over 4 hours to meet Josh while Amy is feeling awkward and doing nothing. So she goes home that night and she messages Josh saying, "I waited over 4 hours for you to show up and you never did." and he replies by saying he was there and explains her outfit exactly and says he was to shy to talk to her by how pretty she is. So she buys it and they decided to meet behind a diner that night. WHO DOES THAT? YOUR ASKING TO GET KIDNAPPED IF YOUR MEETING SOME GUY BEHIND A DINER. WHY DIDN'T YOU MEET HIM SOMEWHERE PUBLIC AND SAFE? Jesus.
So a few days go by and no one has heard from Megan and now she is declared missing and the news are all over it saying the last time Megan was seen was in a security tape that shows her being grabbed by some guy. Now her mom is acting like her daughter meant so much to her and blah blah blah. So now people are looking at Amy because they're best friends and think she had something to do with it. So being the good friend that Amy is, she messages Josh saying that she thinks that he kidnapped her and he denies it saying he's worried about her too. OKAY OBVIOUSLY HE'S GOING TO SAY HE DIDN'T KIDNAP HER. ANY CREEPER WOULDN'T SAY, OH YEAH I DID KIDNAP YOUR FRIEND. SORRY.
So than Amy starts talking to Josh and he's saying how she's so pretty and he liked her the whole time, and of course she's going to believe that because she's 14 and doesn't have much of a confidence which is sad. So she sends him tapes of her in her room and everything, a tour of her house like Megan did and she makes another tape and you see a shadow in the background moving and than she get's kidnapped. WHY WOULD YOU SHOW SOME GUY WHO TOOK YOUR FRIEND YOUR HOUSE AND EVERYTHING? AND YOU SHOULD HAVE DELETED HIM AS A FRIEND AND GONE ON WITH LIFE.

Than it esclades quickly.
If you're easily scared or don't want to know what happens to Megan and Amy, stop reading this now.

So I thought this was the end of the movie, but it wasn't. I'm not going to explain what happens in the last 20 minutes but it made me feel awful, almost cry and angry at 'Josh'. And also delete my Facebook and cover my webcam on my laptop. WARNING, - THE ENDING IS GRAPHIC, I WASN'T EXPECTING THIS ENDING AND I HAD TO LOOK A WAY A FEW TIMES.

The scariest thing about this movie is the fact that this film isn't fake, it's real. And it scared me for life. It's shot to look like a documentary of the conversations and tapes when it was filmed in Hollywood, but the story about Megan and Amy is REAL. The producer took 7 stories about missing children and their cases and combined them together to show people that THIS REALLY DOES HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE. It's not just a freak incident, but things happen like this when you talk to people online you don't know. Especially this day in age. It changed how I feel about people online and made me go through my friends list and delete people, because honestly you've probably added a 'friend' that's actually a fake account someone made and you didn't know it or still don't know it.
